POST Postprocessing: 123 models
Post-processing equipment covers everything a 3D printer needs before and after the actual build: unpacking and sieving stations for powder bed systems, blending stations for used and virgin powder, wash and cure units for resin printers, blasting and dyeing systems for depowdering, smoothing and colouring, support removal tanks for FDM and PolyJet, and debinding and sintering furnaces for metal FFF and binder jetting. HP Multi Jet Fusion is a special case: parts are printed inside a mobile build unit that is afterwards rolled into the processing station. There the job cools down, the part cake is unpacked, excess powder is sieved and blended with virgin powder, and the build unit is refilled; the Natural Cooling Unit and Automatic Unpacking Station complete this chain. Without such equipment a printer cannot run in production, yet it is often underestimated when budgets are planned.
Our catalog lists, among others, the EOS IPCM M and IPCM P, unpacking, sieving and blending stations; from HP the M0P42A and M0P49A Fast Cooling processing stations, the stations for the 4200, 5200 and 5420W, build units of the 4200 and 5200 lines, Automatic Unpacking and Natural Cooling; Formlabs Form Wash and Form Cure plus Fuse Sift and Fuse Blast; the 3D Systems ProJet Finisher, MJP EasyClean and Figure 4 UV Cure; Sinterit PHS and Sandblaster; Markforged Wash-1 and Sinter-1/-2; the Desktop Metal Furnace and Powder Station; Raise3D DF Wash and DF Cure; sieving and unpacking stations from Trumpf, the Lithoz CeraClean, AMT PostPro, systems from PostProcess and DyeMansion, and Stratasys support removal systems. Most of these units change hands together with a printer; individual build units, processing stations and blasting systems are also sought to expand existing cells.
Before buying, check compatibility with the printer and target material (polyamide, resin system, metal powder), ATEX certification of vacuums and sieving stations, the condition of filters, seals and screens, heating and solvent circuit on wash units, UV output on cure units, and temperature control, atmosphere and heating elements on sintering furnaces. For HP peripherals: a Jet Fusion printer cannot operate without a build unit and a processing station, and 4200 and 5200 generation components are not interchangeable; operating hours, build unit heaters and firmware version belong in the inspection. Utility requirements for power, compressed air, extraction and shielding gas complete the checklist. Below you will find the technical data of all post-processing and peripheral units in our catalog, together with those currently offered second-hand.
