HP Jet Fusion 5200 3D Natural Cooling Unit — Technical data

The HP Jet Fusion 5200 3D Natural Cooling Unit is a mobile cooling container that takes over the finished build, powder cake included, from the build unit. This frees the build unit immediately so that printer and processing station can prepare the next job while the parts cool naturally outside. The unit also serves as input for the Automatic Unpacking Station. HP uses it with the 5200 series, 5420W and 5600 and recommends the Hovmand Forklift 5200 for moving a full unit. HP does not state dimensions or weight in the accessible documents.

Used cooling units are an inexpensive way to raise the utilisation of an MJF line. Before buying, check that seals, lid, castors and the interface to the processing or unpacking station are undamaged and that suitable lifting equipment is available. Information on which materials the unit has been used with is also useful.
