HP Jet Fusion 5200 3D Processing Station — Technical data
The HP Jet Fusion 5200 3D Processing Station is the powder station of the current MJF platform. It automatically mixes new and recovered powder, sieves it ultrasonically, loads it into the build unit and, after printing, takes the build unit for semi-manual unpacking. Excess powder returns to an external tank. The station works with the 5200, 5210, 5210 Pro and 5600 printers and is also offered as an upgrade for the 5000. It weighs 485 kg empty, needs a single-phase 19 A connection and typically draws 2.6 kW.
Ideally, a used station should be bought together with the matching printer and build units. Check the condition of the sieve insert, seals and conveying lines, the cleanliness of the tank and whether powder residues of another material are present. Service records and firmware compatibility with the existing printer should also be clarified.
