3D Systems ProJet Parts Washer — Technical data

The ProJet Parts Washer is a 3D Systems parts washer from the post-processing line of the ProJet SLA systems. The ProJet 6000 and 7000 brochure lists a Parts Washer as an optional accessory for the 6000 models, together with UV curing units and a stand; the ProJet 7000 facility manual lists a washer under part number 273998-01. In the washer, resin adhering to the parts after printing is removed before they are post-cured. Technical data such as volume, dimensions or electrical ratings are not publicly documented. The unit is no longer offered.

Anyone buying a used Parts Washer should check manufacturer, part number and voltage on the rating plate and clarify which system it was intended for – the older ProJet 1000 and 1500 had their own washing unit. Tank, seals and mechanics must be tight and free of cured resin. Which cleaning agent was used matters for compatibility with your own resin and for disposal.
