Concept Laser QM Powder S — Technical data

The QM Powder S is a stand-alone sieving station from Concept Laser, introduced in 2016 together with the Mlab cusing 200R. It sieves powder under inert gas and in parallel with ongoing production, so the machine does not have to wait for powder preparation. Depending on requirements it works with one to three sieves, and the sieving motion is three-dimensional. It is aimed at dental labs and other operators of small systems who often switch materials or process reactive powders such as titanium. A separate unit instead of sieving built into the machine keeps the build chamber free for the next job.

Used, the QM Powder S is mainly of interest as an addition to an Mlab machine. Check the condition and mesh size of the sieves supplied, the tightness of the inerting, containers and connections to the Mlab, and cleaning records if several materials have been sieved. Dimensions, connection values and throughput are poorly documented and should be requested from the seller.
