The HP Jet Fusion 5200 3D Build Unit is the exchangeable build unit of the current MJF production printers 5200, 5210 and 5600. It holds the build with an effective volume of 380 × 284 × 380 mm and weighs 140.5 kg empty. After printing it is pulled from the printer and taken to the processing station for unpacking, or the build is transferred to a Natural Cooling Unit. With the Automation Accessory the printer can print two build units in succession without operator intervention. Several build units per printer increase utilisation.

It is also important to know which materials the unit has run, to avoid contamination, and whether it matches your printer model and firmware version. Records of maintenance or replaced wear parts add value.
