AM Solutions C1 — Technical data
The C1 removes support material and resin residues from photopolymer parts, for example from PolyJet or SLA printers, and came onto the market in 2022. The parts sit in a stainless steel basket in a heated bath of AM Solutions' own compound, and the effect comes from heat and mechanical movement. Sensors monitor fill level, temperature and contamination of the bath, and a data logger records cycle times. The working space measures 340 × 440 × 170 mm and the fill volume is 62.5 litres. The unit weighs only about 185 kg and runs from a normal 230 V socket.
A used C1 is a manageable machine, and the condition of the bath and sensors is what counts. Saturated compound must be disposed of properly; before taking it over, clarify whether the unit will be handed over empty and cleaned. Check that the saturation sensor and heating work, as well as the suspended particle screen. Compounds are bought from Rösler, so include the running costs in the calculation. Stored recipes show which printer materials the unit was set up for.
