3D Systems PostCure 1050 — Technical data

The PostCure 1050 is the large 3D Systems post-curing unit for parts from SLA and Figure 4 printers. The chamber takes parts up to 1050 × 800 × 625 mm and 86 kg, with uniform curing in 850 × 750 × 550 mm. 36 LED modules on all six inner surfaces deliver up to 1,000 W of UV power at 365, 395 and 425 nm, plus up to 3,000 W of heating for 20–80 °C and active cooling for sensitive parts. An optional drying cycle removes solvent residues before curing, and curing times range from 15 to 120 minutes depending on the material. 3D Systems lists the PostCure 1050 as an accessory to the SLA 750 and SLA 825.

The unit weighs around 300 kg and needs 200–240 V single-phase at 24 A. With a used unit, check the condition of the LED modules, heating and cooling, door seals and sensors, and whether 3D Systems material recipes are installed and up to date. Because curing profiles determine part properties, traceable maintenance is important, especially for dental or series applications.
