Stratasys, with headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and Rehovot, Israel, manufactures industrial polymer 3D printers and was formed by the merger of Stratasys and Objet. Two technologies define the portfolio: FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), covering the F series (F120, F170, F190CR, F370, F370CR, F770), the Fortus machines (250mc to 900mc), the F900 and F3300 and the older uPrint and Dimension; and PolyJet, covering the Objet24, Objet30, Objet260/350/500 Connex, Eden and the J series (J35, J55, J750, J826, J850 Digital Anatomy, J5 and J3 DentaJet). The range is completed by SAF powder printing on the H350, stereolithography on the Neo 450 and Neo 800, and the Origin One and Origin Two using the P3 process. Applications span prototyping, jigs and tooling, aerospace, automotive, medical and dental.
Stratasys equipment is widely traded second-hand. Sought-after machines are the Fortus 380mc, 450mc and 900mc, the first-generation F series (F170, F370), the Objet30, Objet260/350/500 Connex and the J750/J850. The uPrint, Dimension, Fortus 250mc, 360mc and 400mc and the Objet Connex line are discontinued, succeeded by the F series, F3300 and J series. For older PolyJet models, bear in mind that the supply of materials and print heads may become restricted as the platforms age.
Material lock-in is the central point when buying used Stratasys machines: FDM canisters carry chips that encode material type and remaining quantity, and PolyJet cartridges are chipped as well; third-party material is only possible on selected models through an open material licence. GrabCAD Print is available free of charge but requires an account; older machines run on Insight or Objet Studio. Check operating hours, the condition of heads, liquefiers, heated chamber and vacuum platen (FDM), and the age and nozzle health of print heads and UV lamps (PolyJet), as print heads degrade over time and are treated as wear parts. A transferable maintenance contract makes continued operation easier. Utility requirements range from single-phase mains (F120, Objet30) to three-phase power plus compressed air (Fortus 900mc, J850). Below you will find the technical data of all 104 Stratasys models in our catalogue, along with those currently available second-hand.
