Stratasys F190CR — Technical data

The F190CR is the smaller of the two composite-ready machines in the F123 CR series. Besides PLA, ABS-M30, ASA and TPU 92A it processes the carbon-fibre reinforced materials ABS-CF10 and Nylon-CF10, targeting stiff fixtures, brackets and functional parts. The build volume is 305 × 254 × 305 mm, layer thickness ranges from 0.127 to 0.330 mm depending on material. Two spool bays hold one model and one support spool; Nylon-CF10 can be printed with either soluble or breakaway support. The larger model is the F370CR with four bays.

On a used CR machine the print head deserves particular attention, as fibre-reinforced filaments are abrasive. Ask how much has been printed with CF materials, which heads are included and whether wear parts have already been replaced. Add to that the service history, the condition of the build platform, a wash station for the soluble support and whether GrabCAD Print Pro can be taken over as a subscription.
