Stratasys Dimension SST 1200es — Technical data

The Dimension SST 1200es is the version of the Dimension 1200es with soluble support material. Build volume (254 × 254 × 305 mm), layer heights of 0.254 and 0.330 mm and the ABSplus material match the BST version; the supports, however, dissolve in a caustic bath after printing. This allows parts with cavities, internal channels or moving assemblies without laborious break-out. The printer was aimed at engineering departments as well as schools and universities. Stratasys now supports it only as a legacy model.

With a used SST 1200es, the wash station is part of the package – if missing, a suitable unit must be sourced, including cleaning agent and a solution for disposing of the caustic solution. Also check print heads, build platform and heating and the operating hours. Cartridges for ABSplus and the soluble support must remain available. CatalystEX was written for older Windows versions, which should be tested on the intended PC before buying.
