Stratasys Origin Two — Technical data
The Origin Two is the current resin printer in Stratasys' Origin family. Its P3 process (Programmable PhotoPolymerization) cures each layer with a 4K projector at 385 nm, and the build volume is 192 × 108 × 370 mm. Stratasys quotes tolerances down to ±50 µm for validated applications and surfaces down to 2 µm Ra, provided parts are post-cured in the CureLite. The printer aims at small production parts in engineering resins that need to be dimensionally accurate without visible layers. Its predecessor is the Origin One, which can be brought to a similar level with the Origin One+ kit.
For a used purchase, the licence and material model is decisive: check whether an OpenAM licence for free resin choice is present and transferable, and which validated materials were last used. Add projector hours and uniformity, the state of vat film and build platform, and the jigs supplied. According to the manufacturer the spec-sheet values are not reached without CureLite, so budget for it if missing. The printer can run offline, but a network makes updates easier.
