Stratasys F170 — Technical data

The Stratasys F170 is the entry model of the F123 series, aimed at engineering departments, schools and universities that want to print FDM parts in an office setting. The build volume is 254 × 254 × 254 mm, with layer thicknesses from 0.127 to 0.330 mm. Two spool bays in the front drawer take one model and one support spool. It processes PLA, ABS-M30, ASA, ABS-CF10 and TPU 92A, all except PLA with soluble support. Above it in the series sits the F370 with a larger build volume and four bays; jobs are prepared in GrabCAD Print.

The F170 is a common machine on the used market and relatively easy to run. Check the operating hours, the condition of print head and build platform, and the service records. ABS-CF10 at the finest layer requires the T14H head, so ask whether it is included. Also clarify whether a wash station for the soluble support comes with the printer and whether an existing GrabCAD Print Pro subscription can be transferred.
