Stratasys Objet1000 Plus — Technical data

The Objet1000 Plus is Stratasys' large-format PolyJet multi-material printer. Its 1000 × 800 × 500 mm build volume takes parts up to 135 kg, such as full-size prototypes of dashboards, housings or household appliances. According to the data sheet, it prints layers from 16 µm and combines up to 14 materials in one part, including transparent VeroClear, rigid Vero grades, rubber-like Tango, Rigur and Digital ABS Plus. Accuracy is up to 85 µm on small features and up to 600 µm over the full length. Stratasys stopped selling it in August 2022.

At around 2.2 tonnes and almost 2.9 m wide, the Objet1000 Plus requires specialist transport and crane work; access, floor load and climate control at the site must be clarified beforehand. Technically, the print heads, UV lamps and the condition of the material supply matter most. Stratasys still offers service contracts, and the minimum support period runs to 2029 – an argument in its favour over older Connex units.
