Stratasys J5 MediJet — Technical data

The J5 MediJet is a compact PolyJet printer for hospitals, medical device makers and training institutions. It produces patient-specific anatomical models for surgical planning, drilling and cutting guides, and samples for medical device development. The maximum part size is 140 × 200 × 190 mm on a 1,174 cm² print area, printed in HQS mode at 18.75 µm. Besides biocompatible MED615RGD, which depending on the material can be sterilised by steam, gamma, VHP or EtO, it offers Vero, ToughONE, Elastico, Digital ABS Plus and DraftWhite. Its sibling with tissue-like materials is the J5 Digital Anatomy.

When buying second-hand, regulatory questions matter as much as head condition and service history: producing guides or sterilisable parts requires documented processes, suitable materials and 510(k)-cleared segmentation software. Clarify whether service contract, software and any validation documents are handed over. Technically, installation is simple: a single-phase supply, 228 kg and a room at 18–25 °C are enough.
