Stratasys J826 Prime — Technical data

The J826 Prime is the compact model of the J8 series. It offers the print modes and material range of the J850 Prime – up to seven resins at once, Pantone-matched colours, transparent and flexible materials – but with a smaller 255 × 252 × 200 mm build volume. Layer thickness goes down to 14 µm, and 55 µm with DraftGrey in Super High Speed mode. Available materials include ToughONE, VeroVivid, VeroUltra Clear, Agilus30 and Digital ABS Plus. This makes it suitable for design models and prototypes in companies that do not need the J850's build volume.

Used, the J826 Prime is a way into full-colour PolyJet with a smaller footprint: printer and separate material cabinet together weigh just under 390 kg. What matters is the condition and age of the print heads, maintenance logs, the material feed from the cabinet and the shelf life of the resins included. A test print with colour gradients and transparent material reveals failed nozzles. It also needs to be clarified whether software access, SDK and service contract are transferred.
