Stratasys H350 — Technical data
The H350 is Stratasys' powder bed system and uses the SAF process: piezo print heads jet an absorbing fluid (HAF) onto each polymer powder layer, then infrared energy fuses the wetted areas. The build volume is 315 × 208 × 293 mm at 100 µm layers, and a full job takes just under twelve hours according to the brochure. Materials include several PA12 grades, a bio-based PA11 and polypropylene. The machine targets short runs and end-use parts such as fixtures, orthotics, robotics and vehicle parts. Stratasys offers the PowderEase T1 station for breakout, sieving and loading.
With a used H350, look closely at the powder side: which materials ran last, is leftover powder included and how old is it? Also check the condition of print heads and heaters, the service history and whether a service contract can be transferred, since the manufacturer covers the print heads under it. On site you need 400 V/16 A, extraction of 300 m³/h and a plan for depowdering and blasting; whether a PowderEase T1 is included changes the workflow considerably.
