Stratasys Fortus 900mc — Technical data

The Fortus 900mc is the large-format system of the Fortus range, with a build volume of 914 × 610 × 914 mm. It processes the full Fortus portfolio from ABS and ASA through PC and nylon to ULTEM 9085, ULTEM 1010 and PPSF, plus washable ST-130 for cores and hollow parts. Two model and two support canisters with automatic changeover allow long builds. This allows large fixtures, tools and full-size prototypes to be built in one piece. Stratasys support lists the 900mc together with the current F900, which has the same build volume.

A used 900mc means an industrial relocation: almost 2.9 tonnes, 2.8 m long and a three-phase 40 A supply. Before buying, check operating hours, the condition of heads, chamber heating and gantry axes, and which material packages and tips are included – ULTEM or PPSF capability adds noticeably to value. Also clarify what service and spare-parts commitment Stratasys gives for the older hardware, whether Insight licences are transferred and whether canisters for the required materials are available.
