Stratasys Objet350 Connex1 — Technical data
The Objet350 Connex1 is the mid-size multi-material printer of the Connex range in its basic configuration and came to market in November 2014. It builds within 342 × 342 × 200 mm and keeps three base materials loaded, which it uses unmixed within one part or on a mixed tray. According to Stratasys, the material cabinet with hot swapping reduces changeovers, so long jobs run without intervention. The Connex1 offers no Digital Materials or colour; for those there are the Connex2 and Connex3 in the same housing. Compared with the Objet500 Connex1, the build plate is smaller but square. The Objet350 Connex1 makes sense for shops printing many parts from a few standard resins. Sold until the end of 2021.
Before buying, make sure the version is clearly documented, as the housing is the same for all three tiers. Service contracts are still available. Inspect the print-head set, UV lamps, pumps and waste system. The machine weighs about 430 kg and needs a room kept at 18–25 °C.
