Stratasys J5 DentaJet — Technical data

The J5 DentaJet is the fully equipped model of the DentaJet family. It processes up to five materials plus support at once, so besides models, surgical guides and gingiva masks it can print monolithic multi-colour dentures and partials from TrueDent resins, which according to Stratasys are FDA-cleared (Class II) and CE-marked as Class IIa. Print area and maximum part size match the J3 DentaJet at 1,174 cm² and 140 × 200 × 190 mm; VeroVivid colours are added for presentation and planning models. At 228 kg the unit is considerably larger than the J3.

Anyone planning to use a second-hand J5 DentaJet for prosthetics should check whether the system is set up for TrueDent and whether their lab meets the requirements for manufacturing medical devices. Print head condition, service history, the shelf life of any resins included and a working water-jet station for SUP711 also count. Software access and service contract should be clarified before buying, as should the availability of TrueDent materials in your region.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
