Envisiontec: 10 models
Envisiontec builds DLP resin 3D printers from its base in Gladbeck, Germany, together with a US site. The company has been part of Desktop Metal since 2021, where its machines are sold under the ETEC brand; Desktop Metal itself was acquired by Nano Dimension in 2025. The printers cure photopolymer resin layer by layer using a projector, in the cDLM models as a continuous process that avoids a separate peel step. Product lines include the Envision One (cDLM, HT, XL), the Perfactory P4K 35/62/75/90 and D4K, the dental-focused Einstein Pro and the large-format Xtreme 8K. Dental laboratories, hearing-aid manufacturers, jewelry casting and producers of small precision parts make up the typical user base.
On the second-hand market the Envision One cDLM and the P4K models appear with some regularity; earlier Perfactory generations also turn up but lag behind in software and projector technology. Because ETEC continues the product lines, spare parts remain reachable in principle, although availability depends on the machine generation. Buyers should expect paperwork and service agreements to reference Envisiontec, ETEC or Desktop Metal depending on when the machine was sold.
When evaluating a used Envisiontec printer, check the light engine (lamp or LED hours, projector calibration), the condition of the material tray and its separation film, and which resins are released for that particular model. The material platform is largely tied to Envisiontec, ETEC and partner resins; third-party material is possible only to a limited degree. Make sure the data-preparation software licence transfers to the buyer and that the control PC is part of the sale. Below you will find the technical data of all 10 Envisiontec models in our catalog, together with the ones currently offered used.
