Envisiontec P4K 62 — Technical data

The P4K 62 is the second-smallest version of EnvisionTEC's P4K DLP family, introduced at the end of 2018 as the Perfactory P4K. With a 62 µm XY voxel size, the 4K projector produces a build area of 160 × 100 mm, with 220 mm of build height. Compared with the P4K 35 it offers around three times the area at a coarser grid; compared with the P4K 75 and 90 it delivers finer detail on a smaller platform. Z resolution is 25 to 150 µm, as on all versions. The family is designed for continuous operation with job queueing and a quick-swap build platform, making the P4K 62 suitable for small batches of detailed, medium-sized plastic parts.

When buying a used P4K 62, confirm the version from the nameplate and build platform, since the manual gives it the same external dimensions as the P4K 35. Important points are the age of the LED light source, DLP calibration, vat condition, and a complete manual and service records. Manufacturer resins are mandatory; service and spare parts depend on EnvisionTEC GmbH.
