Envisiontec Perfactory Micro — Technical data
The Perfactory Micro is a small benchtop printer from EnvisionTEC that cures photopolymer layer by layer using DLP projection with LED light. Its build volume measures only 40 × 30 × 100 mm, but with ERM edge smoothing it reaches a 31 µm pixel size; layer thickness is 25 to 35 µm depending on the material. Weighing 13 kg, with a 23 × 18 × 58 cm housing and a USB link to a PC, it fits on any lab bench. It was intended for jewellery models, hearing aid shells, dental parts and training; the same platform spawned industry versions such as the Micro EDU, Micro HiRes, Micro XL and Micro Ortho. The range is no longer offered.
Used, the Micro is an affordable entry into fine DLP parts, but also an old system. Check the condition and brightness of the LED light source, the resin vat with its coating and the build platform. Control and data preparation software runs on a separate PC; whether licence, drivers and a working computer are included determines whether the printer is usable. Matching resins and spare parts now come only from EnvisionTEC GmbH, whose ability to supply should be clarified beforehand.
