Envisiontec Perfactory 4 Mini XL — Technical data

The Perfactory 4 Mini XL is the middle model of EnvisionTEC's Perfactory 4 printers, positioned between the Mini and the Standard. It shares the 73 × 48 × 135 cm, 85 kg housing with its siblings, while the build area depends on the lens chosen at order: 115 × 72 mm with 60 µm pixels or 84 × 52.5 mm with 44 µm, each 230 mm high, or 220 mm on the later LED version. ERM halves the effective pixel size. According to the data sheet it builds up to 25 mm per hour at 100 µm layers. The long materials list ranges from casting resins for jewellery to hearing aid resins and ABS-like materials.

A used Mini XL is mainly of interest to jewellery and investment casting shops. Before buying, establish which lens is fitted and whether it is the lamp or the LED version, since build area, resolution and maintenance depend on it. Check light source hours, calibration data, vat and platform, and the casting quality of the wax resins on a test part. Control PC and software belong with it; resin supply now runs through EnvisionTEC GmbH.
