Sinterit: 13 models
Sinterit, based in Kraków, Poland, builds compact selective laser sintering (SLS) machines for polymer powder that can be run in an office, laboratory or workshop without industrial infrastructure. The line-up ranges from the Lisa and Lisa PRO through the faster Lisa X to the industrial NILS 480, which offers a larger build volume and an automated powder loop. Peripheral equipment includes the PHS (V1/V2) and Multi PHS powder handling stations, the Sandblaster, the ATEX Vacuum for powder extraction and the Powder Sieve. Materials cover PA12, PA11, TPU and TPE as well as filled grades; Sinterit follows an open material policy, so third-party powders can be processed using custom parameters. Users are design offices, universities, service bureaus and R&D departments.
The Lisa and Lisa PRO are the models most often sold used, having been on the market for several years; the Lisa X and NILS 480 are newer and appear less frequently. The Lisa PRO adds nitrogen purging and a larger build volume to the Lisa, while the Lisa X uses a more powerful laser for shorter build times. Prospective buyers should check which peripherals (PHS, Sandblaster, Sieve) are included, because unpacking and powder recycling are laborious without them.
Inspect the laser and its operating hours, the heating elements and temperature sensors, the condition of the recoater and cylinders, and the sealing of the chamber. Filters, sieves and the powder itself are consumables; the refresh ratio of virgin powder governs part quality. The machines run on standard mains power; the NILS 480 additionally needs compressed air and, depending on the material, nitrogen. Handling polymer powder is subject to dust and explosion-protection rules, which is why an ATEX-rated vacuum cleaner is advisable.
