Sinterit Powder Handling Station V2 — Technical data

The PHS V2 is the second generation of Sinterit's Powder Handling Station and, according to resellers, is better matched to the Lisa X and NILS 480. Compared with its predecessor, the powder container holds 20 instead of 12 litres, the station weighs 145 kg and has two integrated sockets plus a remote control for sandblaster and vacuum. Sieving module, powder separator, HEPA filter, drawers and lit tool shelf remain in the familiar 1.0 × 0.7 m cabinet format. Sinterit has since replaced it with the Multi PHS and only offers it as individual refurbished units.

Before buying a used PHS V2, look at the HEPA filter and its replacement interval, the sieving mechanism and the condition of the remote control for vacuum and sandblaster. Also clarify whether the station was last used with the same powder you intend to use; otherwise thorough cleaning is due. ATEX-compliant operation requires an approved vacuum.
