Sinterit Powder Sieve — Technical data

The Powder Sieve is a standalone benchtop sieve from Sinterit for reconditioning used SLS powder. It separates agglomerates and sintered particles from recycled powder before it is mixed with fresh powder and returned to the printer. The unit holds 5 litres of powder, weighs 22.5 kg and draws at most 24 W from a 12 V supply; according to the manufacturer a sieving run takes about 18 minutes. Sinterit names it as a complement to the Lisa X and SUZY, but it also suits users without a full powder station or as a second sieve for another material.

On a used sieve, inspect the mesh for tears, deformation and baked-on residue, and check whether replacement mesh is available. A working drive, intact seals and the correct power supply unit matter just as much. As powder residue settles in the unit, ask which material was last sieved; switching between PA12 and other powders requires thorough cleaning.
