Sinterit Powder Handling Station — Technical data
Sinterit introduced the Powder Handling Station (PHS) at the end of 2020 as a workstation for unpacking and powder recovery with the Lisa PRO. A cabinet with a footprint of about 1.0 × 0.7 m combines suction hose, sieving module with powder separator, metal container for recovered powder, three drawers and a lit shelf. Loose powder is extracted, sieved and can be reused mixed with fresh powder. Together with the ATEX vacuum and a sandblasting cabinet, it forms the post-processing station of Sinterit's compact line. It has since been followed by the PHS V2 and Multi PHS; the first generation is only available occasionally as refurbished units.
When buying used, inspect the sieving module, seals and powder separator for wear and powder residue, and check that hoses, nozzles and containers are complete. Operation only makes sense with a matching ATEX vacuum, which is often sold separately. When changing material or printer, the station must be cleaned thoroughly so that powders do not mix.
