Sinterit ATEX Vacuum Cleaner — Technical data

The ATEX Vacuum Cleaner is the industrial vacuum offered by Sinterit for safe handling of combustible polymer powder. It connects to the powder station and blasting cabinets or is used directly to clean the print bed and workstation. With 1.1 kW of power, 215 m³/h airflow and a 50 mm suction inlet, it collects powder in a 40 litre container; filtration is via a dust class M star filter and an additional HEPA filter. Depending on the version, it is certified for Zone 22 or by Intertek. Together with the Multi PHS it forms the ATEX-certified Performance Set.

When buying a used vacuum, valid Ex marking is decisive: rating plate, declaration of conformity and version (EU or US) should match the intended use. Filters are wear parts and should be new or have documented replacements. Hoses, grounding leads and seals also need checking, as they are relevant to explosion protection. Powder residue in the container reveals which material was last processed.
