Tritone: 2 models

Tritone Technologies is an Israeli manufacturer of machines for the MoldJet process, a printing method for metal and ceramic parts. Layer by layer, a negative mould is inkjet-printed from a polymer mould material and each layer is filled with a metal or ceramic paste; after printing, the mould is removed and the green part is debound and sintered. Because the process uses neither a powder bed nor a laser, there is no loose powder and no inert gas during printing. The range consists of two machines: the Dominant for series production, processing several build trays in parallel, and the smaller Dim for development and short runs. Materials include stainless steels, tool steels and technical ceramics; target sectors are automotive, medical devices, tooling and general industrial components.

Both models are current and have only been on the market for a few years, so used machines are rarely offered to date. They are of interest to operators who already run debinding and sintering infrastructure, for example from metal binder jetting or metal injection moulding (MIM), since green parts from the MoldJet process are post-processed in a similar way.

When buying used, inspect the condition of the print heads for the mould material, the paste deposition and levelling units, and the integrated process monitoring. Clarify whether pastes and mould material have to be sourced exclusively from Tritone and on what terms, whether software licences and parameter sets are transferable, and whether a service agreement providing access to spare parts is in place. Operation requires three-phase power, compressed air and a debinding and sintering line that is not part of the printer itself. Below you will find the technical data of all 2 Tritone models in our catalogue, along with those currently available second-hand.
