Tritone Dominant System — Technical data

The Dominant System is the production machine of Tritone's MoldJet range and is listed by Stratasys as a partner product. Like the smaller Dim it processes a paste based on MIM powders without an open powder bed, but with six trays of 400 × 240 × 120 mm each, 70,000 cm³ in total. Build rate is up to 1,200 cm³/h with 25–150 µm layers. An AI-based check analyses every layer and removes faulty layers if needed. Tritone quotes part densities above 99 % after further processing and targets series of complex metal and ceramic parts.

With a footprint of about 3.2 × 3.5 m, the Dominant is an industrial installation and moving it needs planning. Used buyers should consider the whole process chain: debinding and sintering of green parts, available pastes and parameters, the maintenance state of the six trays and service access through Tritone. Since utility requirements and weight are not published, installation conditions and media needs should be clarified in writing before buying, as should software licences and update capability of the quality inspection.
