Description:

The Keyence Agilista-3200W prints models that can be engineered: 15 µm layer thickness, transparent material, and a support material that dissolves in water. This creates assemblies that can be snapped together, screwed, and moved — gears, housings with undercuts, channels and cavities in a single piece, without having to mechanically break out support structures.

Printing is done using the UV inkjet process: The print head applies material in the X and Y directions, a roller smooths each layer, and the UV lamp hardens it immediately. The result is smooth surfaces and dimensionally accurate details, which are not achievable with FDM printing.

The device can stand in an office or design room: It requires a standard electrical outlet, no extraction system, and no structural modifications.

What's special about the support material:AR-S1 dissolves in water and can be removed cleanly even from tight gaps. Soft areas are removed by hand beforehand. Nothing on the model is broken or milled — even delicate structures survive post-processing unscathed.
