Stratasys Objet500 Dental Selection — Technical data

The Objet500 Dental Selection carries the Dental Selection concept over to the large Objet500 platform. Stratasys introduced it in October 2015 for large dental and orthodontic labs, seven months after the Objet260 Dental Selection. The build area grows from 255 × 252 to 490 × 390 mm at the same 200 mm height – roughly three times the space for arch models per job. With triple jetting it combines VeroDent, VeroDentPlus, tooth-coloured VeroGlaze and biocompatible MED610 with VeroWhite, VeroMagenta, TangoPlus and TangoBlackPlus into Digital Materials for gingiva masks and graded tooth shades. Stratasys ended sales as early as the end of 2019, almost three years before the Objet260.

The 500 pays off when many models are produced at once on a regular basis; for individual patient cases the Objet260 is enough. Important for used purchases: according to Stratasys' life-cycle list, service contracts for this model must end before 2028, while materials remain available. Check the print-head set, UV lamps, the unlocked colour and Digital Material modes, and maintenance records and material batches for MED610 surgical guides. Ask the seller for dimensions and weight before transport.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
