Stratasys Objet500 Connex1 — Technical data
The Objet500 Connex1 is the large multi-material printer of the Connex range in its basic configuration, introduced in September 2014. At 490 × 390 × 200 mm it offers the family's largest build plate and, according to Stratasys, prints parts from three different materials in one run, such as rigid Vero with rubber-like Tango. The larger material cabinet holds eight cartridges that can be swapped during operation; this doubles material capacity and helps with long jobs. Blended materials and colour are reserved for the Connex2 and Connex3. Compared with the Objet350 Connex1, more fits on one plate – larger parts or more small parts per job. It targets model making and prototyping at high throughput. Sold until the end of 2021.
With a used Objet500 Connex1, the documented version, the print-head set and UV-lamp hours are the main points. The machine weighs about 430 kg plus a 76 kg material cabinet and needs a climate-controlled room. Stratasys still offers service contracts.
