Stratasys Objet350 Connex2 — Technical data
The Objet350 Connex2 adds Digital Materials to the mid-size Objet350 platform: two base resins are blended during printing into new materials, with more than 100 options according to Stratasys. Typical are Digital ABS for tough functional parts and injection-mould inserts, and rubber zones in graded Shore A hardnesses within one part. The 342 × 342 × 200 mm build volume, housing and material cabinet match the Connex1; unlike the Connex3, it lacks the colour resins. The Connex2 appeared in November 2014 and was sold until the end of 2021. It suits product developers who want to test overmoulds, seals and grip zones realistically without needing colour models; anyone needing larger plates takes the Objet500 Connex2.
Used, the value of a Connex2 depends on the unlocked Digital Material modes and the print-head set. A nozzle test and a trial print in Digital ABS show whether both material channels work cleanly. Add UV lamps, pumps and maintenance history; service contracts are still available.
