Stratasys Objet30 V5 Prime — Technical data

The Objet30 V5 Prime is the better-equipped version of the compact Objet30 office PolyJet printer. It shares the housing, embedded computer and 294 × 192 × 148.6 mm build volume with the Pro but handles 13 instead of nine model materials, adding rubber-like TangoGray and TangoBlack, transparent RGD720 and biocompatible resins for medical use. Only the Prime also offers the 36 µm Fast Draft mode for quick concepts, alongside 16 and 28 µm. If you want to print flexible parts, seal samples or medical models, you need the Prime; for purely rigid parts the Pro is enough. Like the Pro, it was sold until May 2023 and is common on the used market.

When buying, ask for proof of the Prime configuration, for example via the material selection in the software or a test print in Tango. Print-head run time, the UV lamp and the water-jet station are the usual checkpoints. For biocompatible work, maintenance records and valid resin batches are also needed. At 106 kg with a single-phase connection, installation stays simple; Stratasys still offers service contracts.
