The Objet30 Pro V2 appeared in May 2012 as the top model of the Objet desktop range, shortly before Objet merged with Stratasys. It uses the Objet30 platform with 294 × 192 × 148.6 mm build volume and 28 µm print quality but extends the material choice from five to seven: transparent VeroClear and a high-temperature resin join four Vero colours and DurusWhite. That makes it possible to print light pipes, see-through flow models and heat-loaded test parts on a desktop, which the base Objet30 could not do. Rubber-like and biocompatible materials only followed with the Prime in the V3 generation.

Stratasys discontinued the V2 at the end of 2016 and no longer offers service contracts; material remains available. Because Objet30 units could be upgraded to the Pro scope later, the seller should document which materials are actually unlocked. Check print heads, UV lamp, water-jet station and the shelf life of any included VeroClear cartridges.
