Stratasys Objet260 Dental Selection — Technical data

The Objet260 Dental Selection is the fully equipped dental version of the Objet260 platform and came to market in March 2015 for mid-size and large labs. It uses the same 255 × 252 × 200 mm build volume as the later Objet260 Dental but additionally processes VeroYellow, VeroMagenta, TangoBlackPlus and Digital Materials blended from them. This produces arches with graded tooth shades and a soft, gingiva-like area in a single print – for functional tests, patient models and presentations. According to a reseller, accuracy is 20–85 µm for small features. Labs needing realistic colour and gingiva models choose the Selection; for plain working models the Dental is enough. Sales ended in October 2022.

A used Selection should be handed over with all colour and Digital Material licences; otherwise it is practically a plain Dental. A colour test print shows print-head condition. Service contracts are still available; maintenance records and material batches are mandatory for biocompatible applications.
