Stratasys Objet260 Dental — Technical data

The Objet260 Dental is the leaner dental version of the Objet260 platform, which Stratasys presented to dental labs in early 2018 according to trade press. With triple jetting it prints three materials on one tray, for example models, surgical guides and splints in a single run. Six materials are provided: VeroDent and VeroDentPlus for models, tooth-coloured VeroGlaze, biocompatible Clear MED610, VeroWhite and rubber-like TangoPlus. The build volume is 255 × 252 × 200 mm, with layers from 16 µm. Compared with the older Dental Selection it lacks the colour resins and Digital Materials for gingiva masks and graded tooth shades; Stratasys offered these as an upgrade. Labs mainly printing models and guides do not need that extension. Sold until October 2022.

When buying used, clarify whether the Selection upgrade has already been activated and whether licences can be transferred. Stratasys still offers service contracts. For MED610 applications, maintenance records and valid material batches are essential; also check print heads, UV lamps and support removal.
