Stratasys Objet260 Connex1 — Technical data

The Objet260 Connex1 is the simplest version of the compact Objet260 multi-material printer that Stratasys launched in three tiers in November 2014. It uses triple jetting and keeps three base materials loaded at once, but prints them unmixed: according to a reseller, one part can combine up to three materials, such as rigid Vero with a rubber-like Tango zone, and parts in different materials can share a tray. Digital Materials with graded hardness or colour only start with the Connex2. The build volume is 255 × 252 × 200 mm. Anyone mainly needing multi-component prototypes without colour gradients can manage with the Connex1. It was sold until the end of 2021.

When buying used, confirm the exact version on the rating plate and in the software, because build volume and housing are the same for the Connex1, 2 and 3 and the tier is hard to tell from outside. Stratasys still offers service contracts. Check print-head hours, UV lamps, material cabinet and pumps; at about 410 kg plus cabinet, transport needs planning.
