Stratasys J850 Digital Anatomy — Technical data
The J850 Digital Anatomy is the large-format PolyJet printer for realistic anatomical models. With TissueMatrix, GelMatrix, BoneMatrix and RadioMatrix it reproduces the feel and behaviour of soft tissue and bone; RadioMatrix is also visible under X-ray and CT. Biocompatible materials such as MED610 and MED615RGD are available as well. The build volume is 490 × 390 × 200 mm, layers go down to 14 µm and up to seven materials run at once. The GrabCAD Print Digital Anatomy software comes with over 300 presets, and Digital Anatomy Creator is optional. The former product address of the J750 Digital Anatomy now leads to this model; the smaller sibling is the J5 Digital Anatomy.
A used J850 Digital Anatomy is mainly an option for hospitals, universities and medical device developers. Check print head condition, service history, the availability of the special materials and whether software licences including the preset library are transferred. GelMatrix also serves as support here and is removed by water jet, so a suitable cleaning station is needed. Site and room climate (18–25 °C) must accommodate printer and separate material cabinet, together weighing almost 600 kg.
