Stratasys J750 Digital Anatomy — Technical data
The J750 Digital Anatomy is the medical version of the J750: a PolyJet printer that uses special resins to reproduce the feel of tissue, vessels and bone. Like the base model it builds within 490 × 390 × 200 mm. The GelMatrix, TissueMatrix, BoneMatrix and RadioMatrix material families allow models for surgical planning, training and medical-device testing; Stratasys cites a Medtronic study on replicating heart muscle tissue. Sales ended in late 2021; the successor is the J850 Digital Anatomy.
Anyone buying a used J750 DAP should check that the Digital Anatomy functions and the Digital Anatomy Creator software are unlocked and transferable – without them the unit is essentially a J750. Also important are print-head condition and history, the availability of the special resins and a service contract, which Stratasys still offers for this model. For medical use, documentation and maintenance records are part of the package.
