Stratasys J5 Digital Anatomy — Technical data

The J5 Digital Anatomy specialises in anatomical models that feel like human tissue and respond in a biomechanically similar way. It processes the Digital Anatomy materials TissueMatrix, GelMatrix, BoneMatrix and RadioMatrix in HQS mode; Long Print and High Speed modes are also available. Applications include point-of-care surgical planning, medical training, medical device testing and dental simulation. Maximum part size is 140 × 200 × 190 mm, layer thickness 18 µm. Housing and utilities match the J5 MediJet; the large-format counterpart is the J850 Digital Anatomy.

With a used J5 Digital Anatomy, clarify exactly which software and presets are included – the specification lists GrabCAD Print, while the Digital Anatomy Creator software is described separately. Print head condition, service records and the availability of the special materials also matter. Water-soluble WSS150 is not compatible with the anatomy materials; here SUP710S is removed by water jet, so a suitable cleaning station should be on hand.
