Stratasys Eden260VS — Technical data

The Eden260VS is the final stage of the compact Eden260 range and came to market in November 2014. Build volume (255 × 252 × 200 mm), 16 µm layers and housing match the Eden260V; new, according to Stratasys, was the first soluble support material for PolyJet. With SUP707, parts in VeroGray, VeroBlue, VeroClear and VeroWhitePlus are freed in a soak tank instead of with a water jet – an advantage for internal channels, undercuts and thin webs. Rubber-like Tango and other materials still use the gel support SUP705. In total Stratasys lists 14 materials, including medical resins. Anyone printing delicate or hollow parts chooses the VS; for simple solid models it adds little over the V. Discontinued at the end of 2019.

When buying, check that the soak tank and the SUP707 enablement are present – otherwise the VS works like a V. Service contracts are only available with an end date before 30 April 2027. Print heads, UV lamp and wiper unit belong in every inspection.
