Stratasys Eden260 — Technical data
The Eden260 is a first-generation Eden PolyJet printer from the Objet era. With a build volume of 255 × 252 × 200 mm it sits in the same size class as the later Eden260V and Objet260 Connex. It processes one model material at a time – according to Stratasys transparent resins, Rigur and Durus, Tango and Vero – with gel support and suits concept and presentation models. On a network it can be used from several workstations. It connects to 100–120 V at 14 A or 200–240 V at 7 A. The manufacturer took it off sale as early as late 2007; the Eden260V with the same build volume followed later.
There are no longer any service contracts for the Eden260, though resins remain available. Buying one only makes sense at a low price and with a reliable source for print heads and spare parts. A test print, nozzle tests, the condition of the UV lamp and a working control PC are the minimum checks.
