Stratasys Connex350 — Technical data

The Connex350 is the mid-size multi-material printer of the first Connex generation, introduced by Objet in 2009 as the smaller sister of the Connex500. It builds within 340 × 340 × 200 mm on a square plate offering about 40 percent less area than the Connex500. Technically it matches the larger model: two base materials, typically one rigid and one rubber-like, are jetted simultaneously and blended into Digital Materials with graded properties; layers start at 16 µm. Materials include transparent resins, Vero, Tango, Rigur, Durus and Digital ABS Plus. It is intended for design verification samples and overmoulded prototypes when parts do not need the full Connex500 area. The Connex350 was discontinued in September 2016; the Objet350 Connex offers a comparable build volume.

There are no longer any service contracts for the Connex350, though material remains available. It is therefore mainly worthwhile for buyers with their own PolyJet experience or an independent service partner. Check the condition of all print heads, UV lamps, pumps and the PC running Objet Studio.
