Roboze ARGO 500 — Technical data

The ARGO 500 is Roboze's large high-temperature system; it was shown as a demonstrator at Formnext at the end of 2017, with deliveries from 2018/2019. Its chamber is heated to up to 180 °C, and according to third-party data the nozzle reaches 550 °C. This allows PEEK, Carbon PEEK and PEI to be printed in a 500 × 500 × 500 mm build volume; the heated chamber is meant to reduce warping of large parts. According to aniwaa the system measures 1,935 × 1,436 × 2,375 mm and weighs around 1.5 tonnes. Since mid-2024 Roboze has offered the ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED instead.

A used ARGO 500 is an industrial installation with matching effort: haulage, crane or forklift, a load-bearing floor and three-phase power on site. Key points are the condition of chamber heating and insulation, the extruders with nozzles, and the filament dryers. Manufacturer data sheets for the first generation are hard to find; with serial number and year, Roboze can confirm the configuration and any retrofits. Also clarify slicer licence, material profiles and whether the optional automation system is present.

1 · Buy

Matching used machines for this material and build volume.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
