NEVO 3D / EVO-tech EL-40 — Technical data
The EL-40 was the smallest model in the EVO-lizer range from EVO-tech of Schörfling am Attersee, which now trades under the Nevo3D brand. It offers a 400 × 260 × 400 mm build volume, a chamber heated to 60 °C, a bed reaching 150 °C with magnetic clamping and two independent nozzles rated to 360 °C that can also produce two parts in parallel in copy mode. Like its larger sister models, it has filament drying, material detection, nozzle cleaning and closed-loop axes. It runs on 230 V and weighs around 170 kg.
When buying a used EL-40, it is worth asking whether Nevo3D still supports the machine, as the EL range is no longer in the current line-up. Give the serial number and firmware version to the manufacturer and ask for maintenance offers. Check both print heads, the cleaning station, the drying unit and calibration. As the manufacturer offered its own filaments with matched profiles, these profiles and any remaining material should be sold with it. A pallet truck is enough for transport and installation; according to the manufacturer it connects to 230 V, but check that the circuit is fused for the 2.7 kW peak load.
