BCN3D Omega I60 — Technical data
The BCN3D Omega I60 was the manufacturer's step from desktop to industrial machine in 2023. The upright cabinet, 987 × 600 × 1,927 mm overall, houses a 450 × 300 × 450 mm build chamber heated to 70 °C, two independent direct-drive print heads (IDEX) with Bondtech LGX Pro and hot ends up to 300 °C, and a bed up to 120 °C. Below sits the Material Operations System, which stores filament at up to 70 °C and below 10 % relative humidity; an integrated UPS bridges power cuts. Unlike the Epsilon series, the Omega uses 1.75 mm filament. It targets large fixtures, tools and end-use parts in ABS, nylon or CF composites. Its successor is the Omega I60 G2 from late 2025.
Used Omega I60 units are young machines, but the model has been superseded. Check print hours, the condition of the LGX extruders and hot end tips, the function of chamber heating, material station and UPS batteries, and the power supply at the installation site. Third-party materials need an activated licence – clarify whether it is transferable. Release of the BCN3D Cloud account and future spare parts supply from Quantum should also be clarified.
