Zortrax M200 Plus — Technical data
The M200 Plus is the compact office printer from Polish manufacturer Zortrax and the successor to the formerly widespread M200. It prints on 200 × 200 × 180 mm with a hot end rated to 290 °C onto a heated, perforated plate in which the raft anchors mechanically; a glass plate can be used instead. Compared with its predecessor, it added Wi-Fi, Ethernet, a camera, a touchscreen and approval for third-party filaments. Slicing is done in Z-SUITE, which includes profiles for Zortrax's own Z materials. Zortrax calls its filament deposition process LPD.
Used M200 Plus printers are often found in schools, labs and design offices. Check the perforated plate for clogged holes and warping, the hot end for wear, and calibration, which uses contact points on the bed. As the printer is open and has no chamber heating, large ABS parts tend to warp; a matching cover or HEPA hood is a plus. Update the firmware via the display and delete the previous owner's network data. Zortrax still supplies spare parts such as hot ends and plates.
